I enjoyed a great day today under the direction of David Springthorpe from the Royal Life Saving Society, and am now an endorsed IQA TA.
Internal quality assurance is a method to ensure the quality of training and assessing. It carried out by watching training or assessing sessions, viewing equipment, paperwork, and Trainer qualifications.
‘The purpose of the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) CPD Training is to help ensure learners are treated fairly and consistently and, that Trainer Assessors are adhering to IQL guidelines for the course and assessment delivery.‘ RLSS.
Another step closer to my goal of becoming a First Aid Trainer Assessor for the RLSS 🙂
