So you need a First Aid at Work course, maybe all or some of it online, in a small class, and like the idea of training at your place of work.
This gives details for the one day Emergency First Aid at Work course.
Who is this qualification for?
The emergency first aid at work qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organizations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.
How long will it take?
To complete this emergency first aid at work qualification learners should expect to undertake 7 hours of learning, here at GJH Training Services you can now complete the training online, and then with a half day follow up session in person.
Course dates for the practical face to face sessions:
27th June 2023
The qualification covers knowledge such as:
- roles and responsibilities of the first aider
- how to assess an incident
- use of an AED
- external bleeding
- hypovolemic shock.
There is continuous assessment through the day with practical exercises, and a final online quiz.
Small class sizes
All of my courses have small classes, I can direct a course for a maximum of 12 candidates. There is ample space in the training room to accommodate this number of candidates. Free tea and coffee is included.
There is plenty of free on-site parking.
